400g beef mince
garlic powder
1 slice buttermilk bread
1/2 finely grated onion
olive oil
handful of fresh chopped parsley
1 egg
white pepper
Himalayan salt
banting tomato sauce
banting barbecue sauce to coat


Excepting for the barbecue sauce, place all the ingredients in a glass bowl and mix very well with your hand. Roll into small cocktail meatballs and fry in shallow olive oil on both sides until cooked. Do not overcook these meatballs. They cook very quickly. When they have cooled slightly, place a little barbecue sauce in a bowl and roll them around in the sauce to glaze them.
