FISHCURRY5

INGREDIENTS

500g hake
3 finely grated tomatoes
olive oil
2 onions peeled, cut in half and thinly sliced
1 green pepper diced
15ml fresh crushed garlic
10ml dried chilli flakes
10ml chilli powder
5 ml turmeric
15ml fish masala
5ml ground cumin
1 tbls lemon juice
a little sweetner
5 ml salt

METHOD

Sauté onions, green pepper and garlic in olive oil for a few minutes. Add the rest of the ingredients excepting the fish. Sauté for a few minutes more. Add tomatoes and simmer to reduce liquid slightly. In the meantime cut the fish into bite size cubes. Add the fish to the mixture and mix gently. Summer for ten minutes. Serve as is or with a side of choice.
